Guide: https://nosimaj.com/create/install/
This is a public alpha. Clean Windows installation/update and live provider tests are not yet verified. Do not claim they passed.
1. Check my OS, Claude Code version and existing Studio install using read-only commands. This install path targets Windows 11. If you cannot access my local terminal/files, give me the exact local steps; do not claim to install into my computer from a cloud workspace. If I use another OS, explain the untested support before changing anything. If Claude Code is missing, use its official setup guide and let me complete sign-in securely.
2. Read the versioned release notes and START-HERE guide. Download only the exact installable ZIP above and its checksum, without login. Do not use GitHub's automatic source archive. Verify the ZIP's SHA-256 matches the complete published checksum before extracting or running anything. Stop if a link is unavailable, the version differs, or the hash does not match.
3. Inspect the archive, license and install scripts. Reject unsafe archive paths. Extract into a new permanent versioned folder under my user profile, outside my projects. Never overwrite an existing release or delete projects, settings, packs or credentials. If Studio is already installed, record the current marketplace path/version and keep it for rollback. Ask before replacing that registration.
4. Follow the documented local marketplace install for nosimaj-studio@nosimaj with user scope. Do not disable security tools, bypass a trust warning, change system-wide execution policy, or use administrator access. Let me review any host trust prompt. If an open Claude session needs to reload for the plugin to appear, tell me the next step clearly.
5. Verify the installed version and plugin registration. Use Studio's doctor in prompt mode so missing optional render tools do not block setup. Report which checks actually passed and any remaining issue. Do not start a paid test job.
6. Ask once which tools I want: Higgsfield, fal.ai, another available provider, Codex for images, or prompts only. I can connect my own API account or use an available provider plugin. Discover all supported features from that connection, including images, video, audio and editing. Do not label Higgsfield video-only or switch providers because a bundled script lacks a feature. Use secure provider sign-in or a hidden terminal prompt; never request, read or print API keys in chat. Show the model, files and price before any future paid job and wait for approval.
7. Help me start /nosimaj-studio:start with: "An original courier waits at an empty desert gas station at night, PS2 style. Prompt-only." Save a scene plan and first-frame prompt in my projects folder. No paid generation or uploads are authorized by this install request.Paste into Claude Code.
It will guide you through setup and check the download for you.
No paid jobs run during setup. A browser-only chat can guide you but cannot install on your computer.
Studio 0.2.0-alpha.1 · Public alpha. Free to download. Windows install and live media-tool tests are still pending.
Install step by stepStart a small scene.
In Claude Code, run:
/nosimaj-studio:startAsk Studio to make a plan first. Try this:
“An original courier waits at an empty desert gas station at night, PS2 style. Make a plan first.”
First goal: a clear scene plan. Choose the look using real game screenshots. You do not need to buy an image tool to do this.
Next: make an image and plan the shots
Make or bring your first image. Review it, then approve it. Check each shot to keep the character and place looking the same. Use the animation prompts yourself, or approve a paid video job after seeing its cost.
Bring your own permitted character pictures. The earlier Hotdog demo is not included in Core.
Install step by step
Prefer to install by hand? Follow these steps.
Get Claude Code.
Already have it? Check your version below.
Otherwise, follow Claude Code's setup guide. Then open a new PowerShell window.
claude --versionLook for a version number. Run claude and sign in. Claude access and billing are separate from Nosimaj.
Download Studio.
Get the Studio ZIP from the official release. Using the setup prompt? Your agent handles this for you.
Check your download
Your agent does this for you. If you install by hand, run this command and compare the result with the published checksum. Every letter and number must match.
Get-FileHash "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\nosimaj-studio-core-v0.2.0-alpha.1.zip" -Algorithm SHA256Do not install. Recheck the release source and ask for help. This page cannot verify an archive on your computer.
Install Studio.
- Right-click the checked ZIP. Choose Extract All.
- Open the new folder. Close Claude Code.
- Double-click
Install Nosimaj Studio.cmd.
The installer puts Studio in its own folder and adds it to Claude Code.
Next: open a new Claude Code session and check your setup below.
Install with PowerShell instead
Extract to a permanent folder
Right-click the checked ZIP. Choose Extract All. Or run these commands in PowerShell. Keep this folder after you install.
Expand-Archive -Path "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\nosimaj-studio-core-v0.2.0-alpha.1.zip" -DestinationPath "$env:USERPROFILE\Nosimaj Studio\releases"
Test-Path "$env:USERPROFILE\Nosimaj Studio\releases\nosimaj-studio-core-v0.2.0-alpha.1\.claude-plugin\marketplace.json"Look for True. It means the file is in the right folder. You should also see START-HERE.html and the license files.
Check for an extra folder inside the ZIP. If the target folder already exists, stop. Use a new empty folder and change the path in each command. Keep your working copy safe.
Install in Claude Code
Close Claude Code, then run these commands in PowerShell:
claude plugin marketplace add "$env:USERPROFILE\Nosimaj Studio\releases\nosimaj-studio-core-v0.2.0-alpha.1"
claude plugin install nosimaj-studio@nosimaj --scope user
claude plugin listLook for nosimaj-studio, version 0.2.0-alpha.1. It should be enabled.
Claude Code uses %USERPROFILE%\Nosimaj Studio\releases\nosimaj-studio-core-v0.2.0-alpha.1. Don’t move, rename or delete it while it is installed.
Windows blocks the installer
Stop and check where the file came from. Verify its checksum. Do not bypass an unexpected warning. Use the commands above if you need another install method.
Check your setup.
Open a new Claude Code session. Run:
/nosimaj-studio:doctorCheck that Studio is found. Missing image or video tools are okay if you choose prompt/manual mode.
Studio command is missing
Restart Claude Code. Open /plugin and check that nosimaj-studio, version 0.2.0-alpha.1, is enabled. Keep its release folder in place.

Choose your media tools
Choose a tool for your scene
- Prompt/manualNo Codex subscription or image API account required. Work on direction and prompts, then import images you generated elsewhere or already have permission to use.
- Optional CodexInstall Codex CLI from OpenAI’s official docs and sign in with ChatGPT. This route needs no OpenAI API key. Image access and limits depend on your account.
- fal.ai · approved providerMake images, video, audio and more. Connect your API account or use an available plugin. Choose any tool your connection supports.
- Higgsfield · approved providerMake images, video, audio and more. Connect your API account or use an available plugin. Choose any tool your connection supports.
A blocked route stays blocked until you choose what to do. Studio must not silently fall back to a paid provider.
Use either provider
Connect Higgsfield or fal.ai with your API account or an available plugin. Use their supported tools for images, video, audio, edits and more. Before each paid job, Studio must check the model, inputs and current price, show an estimate, and ask for your approval.
How do connections work?
Studio checks the tools your API or plugin provides. Pick a tool, connect it safely, then check the price before a paid job. Available tools can vary by model, account and plugin.
The bundled local scripts cover fal.ai images and video, and Higgsfield video. Other features use a supported API or plugin connection. Local script limits do not limit the provider’s full set of tools.
Provider accounts, usage charges and credits are separate.
How are provider keys handled?
Use the local terminal connector provided by the release to enter an optional provider key yourself. It stores the key in Windows Credential Manager. Never paste keys into Claude Code, this site, project files or support messages. The provider receives the prompts and media needed for the jobs you approve.
Change the Core code
Use the Core code to change the rules, add your own pictures and build your own workflow. Start with Lost Game Core.
Read the source README, license, notices and contribution guide before building. The source build command is:
node build/build.mjs --edition=coreGet the source from the official Studio repository. Only files listed in the Core license scope are covered. Other assets keep their own terms.
Your files and updates
| What | Where | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Projects | Documents\Nosimaj Studio\projects | Prompts, frames, approvals and outputs. Back these up yourself. |
| Settings | %APPDATA%\Nosimaj Studio\settings.json | Non-secret preferences. |
| Optional provider keys | Windows Credential Manager | Entered through the terminal connector, never chat. |
| Installed plugin | %USERPROFILE%\Nosimaj Studio\releases\<release-name> | Keep the active version folder in place. |
Before an update
Back up your projects, read the next release’s notes and verify its checksum. Extract the new version beside the old one, then use that release’s tested update instructions. Check the version and reopen a project before removing anything. Core updates do not require a Nosimaj membership.
Fix a setup problem
A download link is not working
Open the official GitHub release and look under Assets for the ZIP and checksum. No sign-in or email is needed. Stop if either file is missing; do not install a file from another source.
“claude” or “codex” is not recognized
Open a new terminal after installing and check the official Claude Code setup guide or Codex CLI guide. Codex is optional; prompt/manual mode does not require it.
“failed to load” or “cache-miss”
Check whether the registered release folder was moved, renamed or deleted. Restore the same verified release to its registered path or follow its reinstall instructions. Keep your project folder separate.
Images don’t render
Run /nosimaj-studio:doctor and check the route you selected. For Codex, verify ChatGPT sign-in and account limits. For fal, verify the local connection and supported endpoint; review its current price before approving a retry. A failed route must not trigger a paid fallback.
A provider asks for a key or a paid job
Do not enter a key in chat. Use the API’s secure setup or the plugin’s sign-in flow. Never paste keys into chat. Do not approve a paid job until you know the provider, model, inputs and estimated charge. Both fal.ai and Higgsfield are approved provider choices.
Need help with setup?
Email studio@nosimaj.com with the failing step, version and a reviewed, redacted setup-check result. Remove keys, private prompts and identifying file paths. This is not a promise of included hands-on support.
What Core includes and what is tested
- The original Nosimaj Studio framework and Lost Game Core workflow: direction, choosing the look from real game references, first image review, shot plans, keeping the look the same and fixes.
- Guided start, setup checks, project storage and optional provider adapters.
- The Apache-2.0 license for the allowlisted original Core files. The release license and notices define the scope.
Core does not require a Nosimaj membership. Character/reference packs and the existing paid ChatGPT Skill are separate products. Third-party screenshots, characters, names and provider services are not relicensed by Core.
Windows 11 is the target for this release. Windows 10, macOS and phone control are untested.
